Poland - Krakow

We stopped at The Princes Czartoryski Museum, one of the country's oldest museums. It began with collections from Princess Izabela Czartoryska in the late 1700s but during various conflicts the artifacts from the museum were moved to keep them safe. The collection was expanded considerably with various antiquities and artwork from across Europe. It opened to the public on its present site in 1878.
